Where does the time go?

slyprenticeIs it just me or does it seem like everyone is busy these days? I don't just mean in real life but online too? I've barely spoken to any of my friends, both online and RL, for the past few weeks and hung out with them in even longer.
I'm supposed to do a July 4th thing with a friend but it's already starting to look like the situation is wavering. I don't really know why, either. Every single person I talk to seems to say the same thing as me: where the hell did my social life go?!
Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty damn close to being a granny at heart - my idea of going out is going out for dinner and a movie or planning a low-key trip to a music festival or something; not club hopping or getting blindingly drunk (I have a fairly low tolerance for alcohol so when everyone's on their 4/5 I'm moaning about my head hurting...) - but still!
Once upon a time I did have a social life. I did go out with friends. Now it's work and home. Work and home. For everyone! Gah!
At least The Incredible Hulk is coming out soon. I'll get out of the house for that one. Plus, Tony Stark is going to make an appearance so....*fangirl!squealofglee*
